Our (Year-Round) Soccer League
Attention Jr. High Youth (Guys & Gals):
If you are in Jr. High and love playing soccer or you are looking to have some fun with other youth your age, SERIOUSLY CHECK THIS OUT!!!
We run both an Outdoor Summer League and an Indoor Soccer (Futsal) Winter League
Summer Soccer League Information:
Who: Jr. High Guys or Gals (Co-Ed League)
Date: Beginning of July to the 2nd last week in August.
Time: We play Tuesday and Thursday Evenings from 6 to 8:30 PM
Involves: Playing soccer 2 evenings a week for the summer months. Transportation can be made available. Youth participants will be divided into teams. Each team will be assigned a coach/mentor. Your coach will play with your team and you will compete against the other teams within a season schedule format, which concludes at the end of August with Play-offs. Following our Championship game, ALL participants are invited to attend our Season Wind-Up Banquet at the Youth For Christ Fire Hall. This will include: A Pizza Party, Team/Personal Awards, Highlight Video of the Summer, and League Evaluation.
What do you NEED:
Comeptitive, Fun-Loving Attitude!
Outdoor Soccer Cleats are recommended (some may be made available for you to use).
Jersey's will be provided, but bring your outdoor gear (Shorts/T-Shirt etc...)
Cost: $25 (Helps cover equipment/field/banquet expenses).
Winter Indoor Soccer (Futsal) League Information:
What is Futsal You Ask???
Futsal is a form of indoor soccer but it is played with sidelines and end lines (no playing the ball off the walls). The game is played with a slightly smaller (low bounce) ball for more control. Balls that go out on the sides are put back in play by a kick instead of a throw.
Futsal is becoming more and more popular in Canada as it really develops the skill of ball control. Many of today's World Cup performers grew up playing Futsal, which helped bring their skills to a world-class level.
Who: Jr. High Guys or Gals (Co-Ed League)
Date: Beginning of November to the end of April.
Time: We play Wednesday Evenings from 7 PM to 9 PM
Involves: Playing indoor soccer (Futsal) 1 evening a week for the winter months. Youth may enter as a team of friends (6 people per team including a goalie) OR as an individual. Individual participants will be divided into teams. Each team will be assigned a coach/mentor who will provide transportation for their team, both to and from each evening of futsal. Your coach will also play with your team and you will compete against the other teams within a season schedule format, which concludes at the end of April with Play-offs. Following our Championship game, ALL participants are invited to attend our Season Wind-Up Banquet at the Youth For Christ Fire Hall. This will include: A Pizza Party, Team/Personal Awards, Highlight Video of the Winter, and League Evaluation.
